01What Damye is
Damye is a free website that introduces authentic local restaurants in Korea, with restaurant listings, maps, quizzes and a personal favorites list.
02Restaurant information
We work to keep listings accurate, but opening hours, prices, menus and other details change and may be out of date. Please check with the restaurant, for example through its Google Maps page, before visiting. Damye is not affiliated with the restaurants listed unless we say so, and we are not responsible for their food, service or prices.
03Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password private.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
- You can delete your account at any time on your Profile page.
04Acceptable use
Please do not:
- use the site for anything unlawful or harmful;
- try to access other people’s accounts or data, or interfere with how the site works;
- copy or collect large amounts of the site’s content by automated means;
- send spam, abusive or misleading messages through the contact form.
We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
05Quizzes
The Food Animal Type Quiz and the Korea Food Balance Game are for fun. Results and recommendations are suggestions, not professional advice.
06Content and ownership
The Damye name, logo, design, text and restaurant descriptions belong to Damye or are used with permission. You may share links to Damye pages, but please do not copy or republish our content without permission. Maps and some features are provided by third parties such as Google and are subject to their own terms.
07Links to other websites
Damye links to services such as Google Maps and Instagram. We are not responsible for the content or practices of other websites.
08Disclaimer and liability
Damye is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your visits to restaurants listed on it.
09Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
